Restoring Comfort, Mobility and Performance

About Me

My passion for horses began at a young age, where I spent countless hours riding and caring for them. This early love for animals naturally led me into the animal care industry. So I pursued this by completing a Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Animal Management at Sparsholt College, followed by an MSc in Veterinary Physiotherapy from Writtle University College. During my studies, I worked as a veterinary nursing assistant at a large veterinary hospital, gaining invaluable hands-on experience. Additionally, I managed my own dog-walking and pet-sitting business, which allowed me to form lasting bonds with the animals I cared for and their owners.

These experiences and qualifications have fueled my career and passion for animal rehabilitation and shaped my dedicated approach to providing top-quality care. I am committed to ensuring that every patient receives the highest standard of treatment.

Electrotherapies

Therapeutic Ultrasound

Therapeutic ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves to promote healing by increasing blood flow, improving circulation, reducing inflammation, and breaking down scar tissue.

It works through two key mechanisms:

Acoustic streaming, which improves circulation and reduces inflammation and stable cavitation, where microbubbles massage tissues, relieve pain and enhance nutrient delivery to the targeted cells.

Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMFT)

PEMFT uses low-frequency electromagnetic waves to stimulate healing in tissues. The pulses improve cell function by enhancing circulation, reducing inflammation, and promoting tissue repair.

PEMFT is effective for treating pain, inflammation, injuries, and speeding up recovery by encouraging cellular regeneration and improving nutrient and waste exchange within the targeted cells.

Laser Therapy (Photobiomodulation)

Laser therapy uses light energy or protons that penetrate the skin to target specific cells, especially the mitochondria, which are responsible for producing energy (ATP). This helps improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and promote tissue repair.

Laser is often used to treat conditions like chronic pain, wounds, inflammation, and muscle injuries.
